Dog crate

I am looking in to buying my buns a dog crate for in the living room. There is a metal tray one on ebay. It is only 31.99 free P&P. Would this be suitable for buns or the normal plastic tray one?

Thats the same as the one I have. The only trouble with the metal tray is that it makes it very heavy. Other than that its not a problem, buns cant chew it and I covered mine in lino tiles as it was quite hard and cold to stand on.

I've got one which I have used for Honey in the past and its fine. It does make noise when they jump into it. I have put vetbed under the tray in mine.
