  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

B is due to have her VHD jab next week but Dill isn't due until next march as he had it just before we picked him up from Jill.Am going to have him done at the same time as want to get them on track together[luckily their myxy already was].Used to have Will VHD jabbed twice a year so im sure it wont be a problem but thought I would ask peoples opinion on whether they have had any problems having it done this early.

Yes will do.Got to take Dill with us anyway as he goes everywhere B goes.Like I say,Will had her VHD 6 monthly but wanted to hear your views. It may be a different version nowadays so not safe.

Hmm. Ronnie is due his VHD next week, but Lola isnt due hers until Feb, i was going to bring hers foward as Ronnie gets so stressed travelling :? I did bring his Myxi jab foward, so he only had 3 months between them, and the vet thought this was ok. Hopefully it will be ok with the VHD too... let us know how you get on :) xxxx
