readigrass instead of hay?

Can I feed readigrass instead of hay? Or is it best to mix it 50/50 etc?

I wouldn't recommend replacing hay with readigrass. It is dried differently
I give readigrass a little treat along side their pellets but due to the method in which it is dried, a bowl full of water must always be available as it makes them very thirsty.

Its really high in protein too which isn't good for (adults) bunnies diet - you might find you get excess caceal pellets left after feeding it. I'd use it as a "sprinkle" to top off normal hay.

Mine love readigrass but too much of it makes them fat :roll: So now I just sprinkle a little ontop of their hay.

Damn it! My rabbits eat loads of this and pick at the 4 other types of hay they have!

Suppose i will have to cut it back! Unhappy rabbits here i come!
