Bunny stopped using her litter tray.

Hi guys

Over the past couple of days our dwarf lop Lulu has stopped using her litter tray. She used to be excellent, and would only wee in her litter tray, no matter where she was in the house. However she's now not using her litter tray at all.
Her cage is located in the garage, from which she has free access to the rest of the house. She isn't peeing all over the garage, just in her cage, but not in the litter tray at all.

She appears to be well apart from that, and is eating and running around as normal. All the pee's also appear to be of a normal size e.g. no trickles.

Lulu is around 17 weeks old now, could the weeing be anything to do with her hitting puberty?

Thanks for the advice :)

Probably :)
Just keep an eye on her drinking and weight. If she suddenly starts drinking lots, looses weight or developes any other 'symptoms' I'd get your Vet to check her over.

I agree. Although it tends to be more an issue with pooing, it can happen with wees.

The main thing to look out for as youv noticed is the size and dribbles- my bun had cystitus and dribbled and did many small wees, rather than the usual bigger wees.

However, she now refuses to wee anywhere in particular, she just lines it up against the back of her cage but anywhere along it, somewhere different each time.

Once you get he spayed, hopefully she'll start using her litter tray again, but if your unlucky like me, youll just have to clean her out more often!
