Our local Scot-ads has an advert with a dutch bunny and the line underneath saying ' a pound and its gone'. It costs a pound to advertise in the paper.
I was thinking of writing to them saying something like-
' I am writing from a local animal sanctuary and I'm very upset by your advert showing a rabbit with the quotes' a pound and its gone.'
I feel it just enforces the fact that animals are disposible and when so many animals end up in rescue these ideas shouldn't be encouraged. Couldn't you show a picture of a sofa or a shed, rather than a living creature.'
What do you think, I don't want to sound over the top, but I also want to get my point across.
