Grooming/clipping advive

New Kit
Hi all , my two cashmere mini lops dont mind me grooming / brushing them but i have noticed one or two small knots/matts very close to there skin , i cant comb them out and dont want to use scissors that close to there skin ,i have seen a pair of wahl cordless pet clippers on ebay and just want to know if these would be ok as there fur is very fine , thanks

What I do is get the fur (Dont pull on it though or your likely to catch the skin) and just snip halfway. When you get close to the skin you should be able to see it

 we have the same problem with our sophieannie (we think she might be part woolly back).

Her fur got on top of us a while back. And we took her to our vets who tried to trim her (it didnt work that well due to the amount of time she could spend trimming)

My o/h (my hero) has really done well with her, all mats are nearly gone. I think if ur bun does not mind stuff like that the key is patience and a steady hand.

my o/h makes a small space for the two of them, uses blunt scissors and teases them in to the mat but can see the end through the fur before he makes the cut, avoiding any skin.

Buns skin is like paper and cuts very very easily (which is why i will not try), we have tried about 3 different types of shavers and none of the have worked.

Sorry for the long post
