Pine cones to play with and chew etc?
I collected a couple when i was on holiday and thought of the rabbits.
They havent been treated or anything, would i need to?

Has anyone else tried pine cones with their buns? :)

Many thanks!

I would just give them a wash, and as long as your buns have had their vaccinations then id imagine them being fine :)

I bought them from the hay experts before and kermit liked chewing them :)

My lot love chucking pine cones. I wash mine in soapy water and then pour boiling water (be careful) over them and leave to dry.

i was thinking about soaking them in hot water to help kill any germs etc thats on them.
All our buns have had their vaccs so yeah they should be ok.
Glad to hear your kermit loved to chew on them, i hope my three do too!
it will give them something else to chew from chewing the decking and flower boarder!

Thanks

my buns used to love throwing pinecorns around their hutch.... but it seems they've become far to lazy to play with any kind of toy now
