Apparently a european eagle owl has been sighted in Cardiff....these birds have a wingspan of around 2 metres and can take animals up to the size of a young deer so you might want to think twice about letting buns free range unsupervised. :wave:

Apparently a local owl keeper lost his eagle owl nearly a year ago and hopes it is her, so will go out looking

Thank goodness someone cares about it, & may even take it if it's not his.
I'm surprised that local sheep farmers haven't noticed anything if it's escaped for a year.
Thank you for the warning - I used to be worried witless by the magpies round here until Thumper learned to spray them with unerring accuracy.
