Rabbit Poop and compost

Questions for all those who use bunny poo in their garden...

Do you put it straight onto the soil? how quickly does it rot down? is it better to put it in the compost bin?

My bunnies are on a layer of newspaper and shredded paper, so it's all compostable, but I am wondering exactly what to do with it for the best.

Many thanks

You can use it direct if you seperate but paper and hay needs composting first so mostly I just stick the whole lot in.

Poop seems to break down quite quickly when dug in but if you leave it on the surface it can take ages, especially in dry weather. I guess the little ball shapes let air circulate well so they dry out instead of breaking down.
