I had a bit of a hoo har with my actual vets yesterday because I told them I was going to take him elsewhere (my usual rabbit vet is on holiday) but they assured me that the vet I was seeing was competent with rabbits, as my vet is training her up where rabbits are concerned. She helped with his dental last week... it's been since then that things haven't been quite right so my fear is that it's related.
She gave him a thorough examination, but I really think he has something going on in his nasal cavity or airway.
He is snuffly without any nasal discharge but was having fits of snorting last night. He's eating, but not his usual Science Selective (normally he has that soaked), he's having no problem eating greens or a muesli mix food and is still pooing, although not as much but that's probably because he isn't eating his normal amount. He's been behaving normally but doing this really odd thing with his swallowing when trying to eat the grass. He stopped doing it yesterday until I had him at the vets last night and she had been prodding around in his mouth.
His mouth is probably still sore as he lost a molar, but that doesn't account for the nasal sounds. :?
