was a bit puzzled when buns didn't bother with their timothy hay. left them to their meadow hay yesterday, but tried again with the (new) timothy just now - it definitely smells mouldy. urgh. got it at a famous chain - can i take it back?

I'd definately take it back.
I buy a £55 box and I'd return it if it wasn't edible

if it smells funny take it back and ask for an exchange, they shouldnt have a problem with it

Yep. Take it back and it will be exchanged. Open the new bag instore and have a sniff and see if it's better before you leave the store.
