Hello,

I'm having difficulties getting Jaki to take her panacur. I've tried getting her to just take it off the syringe and I've tried putting it into a leaf of baby spinach but she just wont eat it, it's like she somehow know's I've done it

Any other ideas of ways I can give it to her?? xx

Mine take it on a bit of banana or riveta:D

Tried her with banana yesterday and she turned her back on it!! She really is a fussy wee thing (takes after her mummy lol) Might give ryvita a go will see if I have any in the cupboard!

Thanks for replying x

You might just have to be a bit firmer with holding her and getting it into the side of her mouth if she won't take it off a treat. Good luck :)

I make a hole in baby sweetcorn and inject the panacur in there and because they love BS so much they wolf it down, panacur and all! You just need to use something they love as it makes it a lot less likely they will turn their back on it.:?

Slice a green bean / mange tout to create a wee pocket type thing and put the panacur in it, then she should eat it.
:)

Thanks all for your ideas!! I left the baby spinach (with the panacur inside) for a bit and she eventually ate it!!

How long should I give her it for? x
