parsnipbun
Wise Old Thumper
We would like to go away for a few days (5-6) at some time in September - pref first week but could be flexible.
We need someone to come and stay and look after our 16 buns, 4 hens, 2 tortoises, and cat. (and 4 pond fish).
We live in a 3 bed house about 15 mins cycle or bus ride from the centre of historic Cambridge. We live 5 mins walk from the lovely river and 2 mins from local swimming pool etc etc.
We need live-in as we have 4 housebuns as well as the outdoor buns and we need the outdoor buns to be let out onto lawn in turns and hens to be fed etc. However I would expect that you would get all afternoon 'off' to do as liked .
None of the buns have on-going illnesses or special needs (one is blind but it doesn't affect him).
Our long-term friend/lodger may be around in the evening on some of the days and if he does not come away with us will he here at night. He is easy to get on with.
You would have full use of all the house, a lovely room overlooking garden etc etc. Wifi, tv, dvds etc food left for you, etc
We are prepared to pay well for the right person - but you MUST have bunny experience and be able to spot a 'quiet' bun at 50 paces.
Specialist vet available in emergency, and also a carer who is used to my buns can pop in every other day if wanted and be 'on call'.
Any takers????? PM me.
PS Oh yes and you can have the loan of a bike, and also we have a shed you could pop your own bun in or a large dog crate in your bedroom. (cannot come downstairs as our own housebuns there).
