You know when buns arent eating anything but they just sit and nibble about on something like they are whispering under their breath about you?

What are they doing???

When mine do that I often think they are chewing on a cacaetroph but maybe they are just grinding their teeth in a gentle way.

Sometimes they are eating caecotrophs or a shred of hya from the carpet but sometimes it's because they're uncomfortable in their mouths...Sorrel used to do it a lot when she was due for a dental.

Both mine do it and the vet has checked their teeth and they are OK.

I wonder what they are saying about me!:lol::lol:

More to the point, why do they stop chomping when they see you looking, and just stare at you, and even their little noses stop twitching....? I'm starting to feel a little paranoid....:?

Alyssa does it, shes fine but she does it sometimes... i think its like anything, humans do it!!
