Wise Old Thumper
One of my buns has suffered from weepy eyes for a few months now, and eye drops didn't seem to help. He went in for a check-up on Monday and my vet just happened to notice that his lower eyelashes seemed to be a bit close to the eye.
He was sedated and had the eyelashes plucked out and within a couple of days his eyes were no longer weeping, and have been totally dry ever since.
Now, I've known lots of rabbits with proper entropion which required surgery to fix the eyelid, but I have never heard of anything like this before. My vet was totally bemused too, and could only think old age had caused his face shape to change, or something similar.
I thought I'd let you all know in case it helps anyone
