Lack of wildies in NI!

Dad is a lorry driver and he was telling me of a load one of the other drivers had to get from the mainland last week, it was a load of wild rabbits for release into the wild over here!

Apparently there is a lack of wildies over here due to an illness killing them (not myxi, I can't remember what it is?)

Funny thing is, the driver has been known by the nickname 'Bunny' for years! :lol:

news to me :lol: their everywhere where i live and round where i work (the disease could be called "farmers")

We have lots at the yard where we keep of horses, including baby ones that are a result of a wild bunny and pet bunny getting together!
