Thought Bunny Hay Munchers would like to know

I recently ( after purchacing a bag of hay weighing roughly 3kgs at £5.60[raised from 2.99) went online to find a hay supplier (farm) in aberdeen area, closest i could find was norfolk, 500miles away

http://www.kirkfarmers.co.uk/default.htm

you can get any amout of hay to suit you, the standard small bale is 25kg!!! for £3.50!
Sadly delivery was £225 to my neck of the woods, but ive contacted him about going with a courier that works out at about £15! so £18.50 for 25kg of hay? 74p a kilo? if he says yes, which im hoping he will, Deffinetly worth it!!

And if you have more space to keep the hay, instead of buying hay every 2 weeks youd be buying every couple of months!!

Well worth a look!
(does straw too if anyones interested!)

P.s. He also does 320kg bales for £55, but it works out cheaper getting the small bales :p
lol
Hope someones able to use it!

Most of us that can, buy bales of hay from local farmers at about 3-5 pounds each. Do you not have a local farmer near you? Try looking in local newspaper ads, especially for horse hay suppliers. Usually if you ring a local farmer, they can steer you in the right direction.

There are other online hay companies...

and

and prob others I haven't heard of.
Both the above have good hay, but it works out quite expensive to have it sent to you.

Wheelie bins make good hay containers....!!!!
