fig tree branches

hi ya i have 2 fig trees in my garden that i have just cut back can the rabbits have the leaves or branches that i have cut back

The general rule I've heard (with bunnies and chinchillas) is to not feed branches of fruit containing stones, e.g. cherry trees. Don't think figs have stones so in theory should be OK.
http://en.allexperts.com/q/Rabbits-703/2009/1/rabbit-diet-6.htm seems to suggest they're OK, but only on a "mine are fine so it should be OK" basis :?
