My sister visited us today and its the first time she's been since we got the 3 new buns. She asked how many I had and when I said 4 she said it seemed as if I had room for lots more.:roll:

My 2 pairs have a 6ft hutch with attached run each.

Is 2 the max for hutches of this size? Personally I think it is but I'm curious to know what you think.

Must just add....I'm NOT looking for more buns just wondering!

I would probably say that 3 small buns are the max for a 6ft hutch assuming they have lots of run space too or are free range.

Depends on the size of the run. A 6' hutch would be fine for 4/5 rabbits if permanently attached to a 10'x8' run (for example).

Is it permanently attached or are they shut in at night?

Its permanently attached. Its 6ft with a 6ft by 4ft run underneath.

Personally I think the best thing you can do for your rabbits is give them as much space as possible, so what you've got at the moment sounds fine for each pair

Thats exactly what I thought. I was just wondering after my sisters comment.
