Sudden annoying behaviour

Toadie

Alpha Buck
H and I wen't away for three nights, during which we had Frodo boarded. However last night all he did was constantly circle our feet which wasn't a problem it self, the problem started when we wen't to bed. All night he would jump on the bed and start 'nibbling' us and pawing at us, like he was trying to dig holes. Is this grooming behaviour? and anyone got any ideas why he has suddenly started this?.
All this was made worse by the fact that as it was such a hot night we hadn't bothered with the duvet (or any kind of bed clothes for that matter :lol:) so both of us was woken by the other who had been rudely awoken and expressing a surprised yelp when this happened!

Sounds like you have your reason - other people will be able to say with more certainty but he sounds like he has hit puberty. Apparently it can happen overnight, someone on here recently had the same thing - went away for a few days, came back and their bun was mad. Others are more versed in ages but it might be time to send him to the vets for a little op.

Yep, boarding = other bunny smells. It's a common trigger for hormonal behaviour :)
