Cage bridge

ShazzaBunny

Warren Veteran
I have decided to keep Flynn as a house rabbit due to his age and health.
He was in a zoozone (my quarenteen cage which i was given, i would not buy such a cage). Anyway, yesterday i upgraded to a rabbit 120 cage. He is locked up when myself and Scott are at work, then when we are home he has the option to come and go as he likes.

However, he is finding the cage base very high and is clipping his back feet a bit which puts him off.

I have found this http://www.petplanet.co.uk/product.asp?dept_id=396&pf_id=8018 does anyone have experience with them? Does anyone know of any other alternatives to this one?

He needs easy access to his cage, as he now tires easily and becomes upset if he cant get back in his cage.

I have one of the bendy log roll things from Pets at Home. http://www.petsathome.com/find/cate...gory-is-6B+Boredom+breakers/product-is-V00163

I use it as a bridge for the dog crate if my two have to come indoors but it depends just how high the cage base is.

If you do get one, just check very carefully to make sure there are no raised/ sharp bits on the logs (if so file them off) as a bunny recently got very badly injured on a sharp piece sticking out.

Thanks Karen. I have those logs already but i dont think they are long enough :? good suggestion though, or i could join two together :D.

I remember looking at the pics of the injured bunny, such a shame :(.
