Yes, I am feeding hay that has been cut a few weeks back. It was dried properly in the field before baling. It's lovely and fresh, green and smells very sweet.
I have done this for three years now from the same farm and have never had any problems.
I'd be interested to hear if anyone has any other opinions as I have never even thought about it to be honest.
