Kitty is a 5 year old male lionhead who came in due to his owner being made redundant, as a result, not being able to afford his dentals (once a year :roll He also had a huge lump on his lower jaw

He has now had it removed.
He is such a soft and loving boy, with such a gentle personality. He loves a fuss and cuddle

It was an abscess the size of a ping pong ball
Luckily it was not attached to the bone.
They did have to go right next to his jugular to get it all :shock:

Poor chap, sounds like Sylvia's ear abcess which she had removed. Did they leave a gap so you can flush it out? helen

Yep, bless him,he is taking it all so well.
Still sleepy, so will keep him in longer- he has been in 48 hours so far.
They were going to neuter him under the same GA, but the op was lengthy and as they were finishing, his breathing started going, so they had to bring him round, so he still has his bits (to his relief i am sure!)
