please help i am on hte phone to mum whos elderly rabbit sooty (10years) is very sick this mornign she wasnt eating/drinking and she was rushed to see the vet asap a rabbit specialist. they found only that her tounge was sore patches they thought due to infection (her teeth were fine) she has had pain relief fluids, antibiotics and a gut stimulant and is currently at home. the vet said her stomach was aslightly doughy but otherwise she was normal with a low temperature the vet said he didnt think it was ec and she was pannacured a while back. i am wondering if its frs adn if it is what we can give her it may be just her time she is not stressed but if we can save her we will....please any advice is needed asap the rabbit savvy vet has gone home and while we will happily take her back to the vets we dont know what else they could do espeicially if it is just their time...she is on a heat pad on mums lap... help.she is neutered and fully vaccinated.
