Can Rabbits Eat Orange ??

My Husband has just text me from Pets at Home (as he has gone for 4 more ice pods as they are still on offer) and he said there was orange cut into quarters in with the giant german lop. I have never given our rabbits orange. Can they have orange ?? I wouldn't have thought so :?

I've heard of cottontail rehabilitators using it to help handreared weanlings transfer from milk to solid diet as it assists the change in their tummies from alkali to acidic. I've not personally given it to one of my bunnies though.

Apparently so :? I asked on here before as my OH gave one of our buns a slice of orange the once when i was out... people on here were 50/50 about it as its citric It is on some of the safe foods lists ive seen though :?

I never knew that I learn something everyday but still don't think I'd give our buns it :?

Yes it is safe for them to eat.... but I wouldn't feed it too often or too much as it is very acidic.
