Do your buns ruin your social life?

Has your social life changed since having buns? I used to go out all the time and come home at all hours. Now since having the Bun, everything is planned around her and her dinner time:D Even my O/H organises things around her!

To be honest I sometimes prefer to stay in with her than go out on the wee wee. I don't like being late for her dinner. If i'm out enjoying myself i hate to think of her little face waiting at the hutch door:(

Is anyone else like this?

Er..what social life?

never had one to start off with but i do know what you mean. like you can't go out all day incase something happens or going on holiday seems really bad cos your leaving them.

I'm even allowed to pop home from work to come and feed my bunnies if I'm working extra hours......so not just my social life(not that I really have one) but my work life too!!

My buns have enhanced my social life as I have made friends with like minded bunny people :D. So now I have bunny friends and non-bunny friends and just socialise with them at different times.

Must confess that I missed a baby shower the other day (non bunny friends)... the weather was nice so when I got home from work, of course I had to spent time in the garden with the buns. So had what was supposed to be a power nap at 5 pm. ended up as a proper kip as I woke up at 9
Baby shower or buns? No contest

id already decided i was a miserable cow who dont like going out before i got the pets :lol::lol:

Definately if I ever stay over at friends I have to be home early the next morning to do the buns and if Shawn and me are staying in its always at mine so the buns can have free range time. I dont mind though they are my babies

I used to go stay with friends in London and Leicester every now and then, now I make them come visit me because I can't (/won't) leave the bunnies. I work all day 9-5 so any evening socials with local friends have to take place at my house so I can let them out into the garden/house and fuss them. Some friends understand (and join in the fussing ;) ) other friends sadly don't see what the big deal is :?

There's being times when I've decided to stay in with the buns as opposed to go out with mates that have :censored: me off.

I have 2 best mates - one's bloke came onto me on a night out, & the other best mate spends all her time texting her married boyfriend while we are out:roll: They both invited me out the other week, but I decided to have a bunny BBQ (for the buns & me!).

I cooked my burger, sat in the sun, drank my glass of wine & watched them belt around the garden. For about 30 mins. Then I got bored & watched a DVD:oops::lol:

If im off work and out at night ill always try and spend the day with the bunnys :)
My parents go out and open the buns up sometimes if im at work early because if its cool i dont like letting the buns out at 6:45

Yep definitely! But I wouldn't have it any other way :D

I used to have quite an active social life before I got all the bunnies, but all that's changed now & it suits me perfectly :D

My social life in my village is enhanced by the bunnies :D I've met loads of people cos they can see the bunnies through the fence (it's wood trellis covered with bunny-proof mesh) and they want to come and say hello to them :D
Also my 2 don't like hay much but love fresh picked grass, so yes, I go out every couple of days and pick them some grass from local fields etc. I've met lots of people who want to know why I'm out there grovelling along the verges

I prefer to go out during the day with my friends while my bunnies sleep rather than evenings. If I go out in the evenings I am always in rush to get to feed them. I went for an interview for a job a few years back and you would have to go away for two days in a hotel for training, needless to say I didn't want the job.

Yeah it has a bit but I've my mum to help out at times which is good. Nothing drastic, mostly money stuff I'll say "nope can't go out Joey needs his teeth out this week"

I drink less
I used to drink every weekened, but I don't like to now coz I have to get Charlie out, and he goes to bed at like 1/2am or something normally, and by that time I'm too tired from sorting his hutch out and I just cba with booze

Totally ruined...

We used to go out all the time but now its 'sorry, have to do the buns'...

It has made life very awkward, especially with some of our friends that don't understand. One of our best friends always used to come and visit but now we have rabbits (and 3 sheep:lol:) that need regular feeding times we like to be a bit more controlled and they aren't interested in coming anymore  Apparently we don't party hard enough. Well sod them I say!

The only downer is we can't go away as often. We used to have a long weekend every 6 months or so but now we don't have any... I don't want to put the buns into the rabbit hotel just for 2-3 nights and I don't trust anyone enough to look after them here. No one I know would visit twice a day :(

I used to go out at weekends with friends and stay over at my bfs house every weekend and now i cant :( Im almost 19 and i cant remember my last decent night out without having to come home and feed the rabbits and put them to bed:roll:

Sometimes i feel like my life is SO restricted because i cant go on holiday, me and bf were planing to go away for our 4year anniversary next Feb but cant because no one will look after the rabbits (and i couldnt trust anyone that hasnt got a clue )
My room is always a mess and i never have money for me anymore but i love them too much to care :)

The rabbits give me so much in return (like lovely piles of golden poo:lol::lol:) that it doesnt matter what my social life is like. I have my bf and he love the rabbits as much as i do and i have my family and close friends so im happy and so are the bunnies

What i will say is my life would be a Million times easier without the rabbits  But when i life easy?

I don't think mines ruined, I just think it's different

I'm just glad my bf loves Charlie as much as I do!
