Flooring Ideas

My rabbits are getting a new bedroom all to themselves, but I'm stuck on the flooring!

They've been on linoleum, but I don't like how they slide, and I'm worried about their legs slipping out too much. They also like to eat carpet when left to their own devices. I want something that is easy to clean, but still gives them traction. It has to cover the whole room, which is about 12' x 10'.

Any ideas?

Cheap solutions win bonus points.

I dont use it myself but know some others on here do so they might be able to help.

Its like that they use in stables for horses. I think its quite thick and heavy.

if its heavy and the right size, the only bit they could get to to chew would be at the door (this is my current dilemma). lots of people on eBay sell it in interconnecting tiles so you can buy as many as you need and probably cut them to size if necessary.

E.g. this covers 64 sq feet and is £25 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=220335070575

as i said, i am just wondering what to do with the edge by the door? any suggestions on deterent?

These look really good! And the price is not too bad at all.

Lets hope they won't chew these. They chew flat walls.

those look cool - do you think it would be okay to lay down on the shed floor? (ie will it be okay being wee'd on? - my buns are not litter trained)

well my plan is to use mine indoors sept - april then line the shed and run with them for summer (sore hocks and rexes etc) so i reckon they'd be ok. My issues would be if water pools ontop of them? or would it drain through the interlocking bits?! could ask the seller about that.

I highly recommend the above. I have done a lot of digging on flooring. And my buns also hates lino. It's too slippery for them and they never go to the kitchen.

So after a lot of digging, the above is made of 100% natural material, including the sub-floor. So if I get some $$, I plan to do the whole house w/ the above
