it breaks my heart to see her like this ...:(...but as you can see she is looking quite bright :love:

its almost certainly looking like a blood disorder causing clotting problems .. we think she has a blood clot which is causing the paralysis.

vet is currently trying to find out of any other similar cases anywhere and looking into specialised blood tests ...but dont know yet if these would be possible or not ..

Liesel is still on steroid injections , antibiotics and is having physio twice a day ..

this moring she pulled up one of her legs after physio...it was only moved about half an inch but it was there ... i have also seen her move her tail a couple of times ... but one leg feels completly useless :(

Bless her :love: At least there is some movement, however small.

She is a gorgeous girl, looks like a very giant version of my Freddy :love::love:

Oh Angie, poor Liesel :cry: she is such a beautiful, brave girl - I'm so wishing that she is able to recover as much as possible from this.

She is stunning :love::love: Reminds me so much of our late Muffin, Duke and Camille :love::love:

She's got light in her eyes and is accepting things by the looks of her :love::love: The last picture is posively gorgeous :love::love:

just thought id quickly update you all on this brave girl ...

She is quite settled ... still eating well .. i am trying to limit her pellets as i dont want her to put on weight while she is imobile so trying to get her to eat lots of different hays .. :)

When i did her physio tonight Liesel seemed to have a marked improvement in the reflexes in her left leg .. when pushed her leg up towards her body there was also little resistence ...not much ..but there was none at all before ...

im taking this a a good sign .. :)
