It's so hot.....

.... poor frankie is suffering with being black. Just put their run on some nice fresh long grass and fidget's munching away but frankie just won't come out of the shaded area

It there anything that makes rabbits cool? Like a snugglesafe but opposite?

bump - can anyone help he is so withdrawn on hot days like today

Brought him and Fidget inside for a few hours for a cooldown but he is still breathing very rapidly and just lay down

I thought he may have another problem at first so was worried but he is like this whenever it is warm

what about ice pods think thats what they are called never used one b4 but they are on offer atm in pets at home

Save your plastic drink bottles (the big ones work well), fill with water and pop them in the freezer, then put them in the run. Do let them sit out for a little bit first though so bunnies don't get ice 'burn' though. I wouldn't worry too much about him staying in the shade and not being very active though, it's what any sensible animal would do to keep cool
