Kaytee Exact Rainbow

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if this was a good pellet for rabbits:

Unfortunately, the US doesn't have as many options as the UK does, especially when it comes to extruded pellets. I read in a book that these pellets are extruded, but the fiber seems a bit low to me, and the colors make me a bit weary. :?

Any ideas if this looks ok?

Fibre is on the low side, but not a problem if your bunny eats plenty of hay.

Have you checked out Oxbow rabbit food?

What kind of Oxbow pellets would you recommend?

The two major ones that I see have copper in them. :shock: Is that normal?

The length of the ingrediants list puts me off :shock: but I am not sure what there is to offer in the US but the Oxbow's Bunny Basics T Timothy Pellets look better

Copper is a mineral and you will find that it is probably contained in most rabbit (and general pet) foods that are fortified, as is calcium etc. They are essential nutrients. So I really wouldn't worry about that. Oxbow is a good quality pellet.
