  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Was checking Joey's teeth again and yep they are defiantly over-grown again  So I'll be taking him to the vets tomorrow most likely his insurance should cover it but I'm making another claim on Scooch's meds will it be okay? What will he eat if he has no front teeth??
Anyways please send some vibes:cry:

Poor Joey, if they are causing him that many problems I'm sure he will be better off without them :)

Once healed he should be able to eat his hay and dried food as normal, he will just need his veg cutting up and if he has time out on grass he probably wont be able to eat it

Our gummy bunny Arthur manages really well bless him - he eats like a horse & his pellet bowl is always empty every day :D As Liz says he will need his veggies cut up small but he should hopefully manage just fine :)

Bless him - I'd try cutting hay & grass up for him to see if this helps him :)

Is Joey the Daddy of the babies?
If so you will need to monitor their teeth extra carefully as Incisor Malocclusion can be congenital.
