other way round tonight - chilli went in his ball (very rare occurence but he was about to escape from his run) and rolled into eric - petrified he was:lol:

need to have a rethink on the hammy run as chilli has gained mucho confidence in the last couple of days. one second he's stuffing his face then hiding in a box and then he's at the top of the bars, sniffing and balancing precariously:lol:

i do too now. since eric came to live with me i think my attitude has totally changed (eric's got a bedtime cage only - and i don't even like that!) but its trickier with a hammy. i got him the biggest cage i could afford which is fine during the day as he just nests underneath the shelf but as soon as he wakes up properly i get him out. not sure if this is best for him but it makes me feel better
more space, toys, hidey holes, food and water.x

eric? jump? what? like a rabbit?:? nope:roll: he tried it once (jumped on top of his cage) and i had to escort him down! also ended up on top of a computer base. again, had to tempt him down with an extra fine green bean.... he's a bit daft. seems tempted to jump up onto the sofa but does the biggest periscope he can and must decide its too high:lol: (wouldn't leave chilli unattended with eric tho - just in case).
