Introducing Crunchie...and possibly more buns to come!

New Kit
This is our new bunny Crunchie having her first run in the garden this weekend:

Ross also enjoyed his time in the garden and had to check that all his favourite plants had not been removed whilst he was at the rescue bonding with Crunchie:

They're not quite a loved up couple as yet but the bond does seem to be developing. Crunchie was very wary of us at first but is improving every day and we hope that she'll eventually grow to love people and appreciate being a house bunny.

Might also be fostering some bunnies for the rescue - either long termers with age/health problems or maybe a nervous pair that need to become more used to human contact to give them a better chance of being rehomed. We're going to visit them this weekend and see which pair needs the most help/would be most suited to our set-up. We've talked about what we could do to help needy buns ever since finding rabbit rehome last year and realising just how many needy buns are out there, so its great to finally be doing something (and very exciting that we might have more bunnies to play with soon!)

Yes, she actually has a rip in her ear all the way across. The rescue had some half-wild bunnies in the area next to her and she managed to escape one night and get into a fight! Ross also has a rip in his ear (from before the rescue took him in) which was part of the reason we chose Crunchie for his partner

I think I've seen Crunchie and sister on RR. Glad to see she's found a lovely home. By the way who's the Siamese if you please! :)

yes Crunchie was on RR (think she still is actually!) - her sister was also lovely but there was just something in Crunchie's eyes when she looked at us and we knew she was the girl for Ross.

The siamese is ours - we have two beautiful girls, Millie & Kiri, who are 7 months old:

They both love the buns and all four love to play together...at first we were wary of letting the buns free range with the cats when we were away at work, but now we have no worries and all four are free to come and go around the house as they please!

Wow you're brave, double trouble! they're beautiful. We have a 2 year old seal point, Sunnee. She's been great with the bunnies too. :)
