Kermits nail has fell off - what do i need to do??

I have just came home and found a splash of blood on the wall and carpet and one of kermits nails lying on the floor.
He seems fine and is running about and the bleeding has stopped....not managed to get a look at what nail yet.
Do i need to take him to the vets? Im thinking that there probably isnt much they will do, but want to check here first prior to calling them.

As long as it has stopped bleeding I wouldn't worry too much, just keep an eye on it to check it doesn't get infected

Thats what i was thinking, ill get a look at it when he lies down, dont want to stress him out by trying to lift him.
Ill clean it with hibiscrub later if i can.
