my new rabbit Luna a English Lop.

pictures now here of her 1 is of her befor she was spayed this April 09. which is kind of cute. because she was going through that building a nest stage.

the other 2 of her were taken resently long time after her spay op.
she is my new Bunny. i got from white post farm. the same place where i got my last rabbit from Poppy who's now dead.
and i got Luna in December 24th Christmas eve. so i surpose she could of been called eve. as in christmas eve and no she was not a early prezent i was going their any way so their you go and her name sticks as luna.

although I call her Looney Luna as her nic name .

Luna is now 11 months old .
got her when she was 6 months old in december 08..

on luna's ear on 1 of the photo's you proberly can see she has a little nic out of her ear like a tag or something was stuck their.

well what had happened to that ear and to her. was when she was little and she was with her litter mates still back at the place she was bred at. not white post. she was bred away from their by a specialist breeder off site.

any way about 1 of her ears that has a nic taken out of it. when she was little. a baby rabbit like her self at the time when she was really young. trod on her ear. and ripped a little off it. but since then its healed so does not hurt her I was told this by a staff member at white post.

also when I got Luna i looked at her feet. and noticed on her front paws. her due claws were either cliped so far down so that they dont grow much.
or that the specalist breeder had , had them removed so its a puzzle as to weather they are removed or not but they have not grown .

so i think she's had her due claws removed at some point.
my last rabbit poppy she never had her due claws removed .

a nic in her ear and her due claws removed. I think maybe that she was not right for showing by the breeder. so was carted off to be sold as a pet bunny at white post along with her sister .

I have known of some EL Breeders who do a DIY dew claw removal when the Rabbit is a baby
Apparently its to try to stop the Rabbit injuring their ears which would of course mean the Rabbit could not be shown.

I am so pleased that Luna has a Pet Home, she is lovely
