Teeth

Wise Old Thumper
I took Tinkerbell to the vets regarding her teeth http://forums.rabbitrehome.org.uk/showthread.php?t=168127&highlight=Tinkerbell and they were all sorted.

Two weeks ago I noticed that one of her bottom teeth was really long again so off we went to the vet, they were filed and sorted again.

I've started now checking them every week and today, 2 weeks on, one of the bottom teeth is starting to grow longer than the other one so off to the vets again tomorrow.

Is it common for the teeth to grow so quickly after having them filed?

Yes, they can grow very fast. Has your Vet discussed extracting Tinkerbell's incisors.? Many Buns with Incisor maloclussion do much better without them and it can sometimes help reduce molar problems too.

Thanks for the reply, Jane.

No, he hasn't suggested extraction yet, though I did think I will ask him about it tomorrow.

He checked her back teeth and no sign of the spurs reappearing yet, so that is good at least.

I'm just amazed at how fast they have grown.

Will let you know how we get on :D
