My kits are 3 weeks old now and are running about like crazy. I was wondering if it would now be ok to clean out the cage properly? The babies no longer have a nest as such- mum moved them into the middle of the cage at a week old and so no fur left, they just sleep together in a dip in the hay.
If I used some of the hay that they are using as a nest and cleaned the rest out would that be ok??
