grape vines

As in the actual woody bits, about 2-4cm diamter.....can someone just confirm that these are ok to chew on before i have 30 poorly buns on my conscience :shock:

I haven't found anything saying they're bad, but nothing saying theyre ok either....but the grapes and stalk are fine so....:?
