My babies have moved into their shed.....(pic heavy)

Paddy and Sadie are spending their first night in their new shed. I am so worried about them, my babies are all grown up and have flown the nest

Thought I'd show you all some photos of them, the run is not yet attatched as I have run out of money, but hopefuly will be in a couple of weeks...

The top fence pannel here comes off, its just on hooks. Its basically so I can leave the door open while im around so they cant jump out. The bottom on is nailed on.

Hope you all enjoy, and any tips are welcome with regards to my shed! x

Looks fab! Where did you get the long tray from?

Also, what kind of food do they eat - there's an awful lot there!!

that looks fab, but I would try and find something to put over that top gap (maybe attached to the outside) as Bunnies, cats and foxes can all jump higher than that.

ETA:just read your post properly:roll:, that the door will only be open when you are around, so Im sure you will notice all of the above!

its excell food...but its only a shallow bowl, i'm not a feeder :lol:

thank you for the comments, i'm really looking forward to it being finished now!

it is! its happening slowly but surley! i keep going outside and making sure they're ok, i'm sure i wont sleep tonight...ive given them loads of hay and theres a little battery light on the wall aswell so they're abit more settled. I think I'm more worried than them!

The double dish is good, but as I said, mines not very big and it is SO light. Sadie is an amazing greedy guts, she'll do anything to beat Paddy to any kind of food so i do tend to put a little more in so he gets his share. They do have more than usual in the photo, but I was being a bit crafty and trying to distract them from what I was doing..moving them out of their room in the house

They seem happy enough though, they have so much more free room now, as Lily is running round the house aswell so I was always having to watch that she wasnt trying to get to them either! what a stress :lol:

Looks fabulous! Where did you get the mesh from for the front???
I finally finished mine today, but am waiting till tomorrow to move them in, don't want to stress them out then desert them!

Its actually two pannels off a puppy pen, the bottom one is nailed on with those staple shaped nails from b&q and the top one just hooks over to picture hook things!

I still feel bad about them being outside! They seem content, if a bit baffled...but they're ok, just cant wait to get the run now! x

lovely set up :thumb: glad they are doing well together..........

ps. i know it's a shallow bowl but you might want to cut down the pellets a touch still otherwise you might end up with a fat faf fluff:lol::lol:

Thank you for that, I will cut down on their pellets..I think I got a bit carried away there :oops:

A small update, I have now got the run, but it needs putting together and the cat flap needs putting on  Nat, have you attatched one to yours? I'm worried it might split the wood :?

I am also planning on adding some more levels to the inside aswell. Now they've been in for 24 hours they're a lot better, they seem really settled, I'm just worrying about the cold outside. They have LOADS of hay in there now and they're not dithering or anything. I think I'm just an overly paranoid mommy! x
