Wet hay :(

Went out and bought a bale of hay. Came back and plonked it down in the garden (it was a hot day) and then, like an idiot, completely forgot about it and it rained.

Is the hay now ruined - or can it be dried and still used?

I dont know how hay works and i dont know if it would be ok, but it sits in fields for months with all weathers so id imagine it would be? i aint 100% sure though so dont bank on that xx

Actually I wouldn't feed it. Once it's wet and left damp it allows mould and bacteria to grow so unfortunately it's ruined!

Hmm thats very true actually as when hay gets dropped and left, i sweep it up put it in bin and it is horrible... :roll: yuk
