  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

I have just bought the above.Does anyone know if it works?B had her mite injection last week, and Dill his spot on,they are going again tomorrow for B's next injection. It was £30 last week so i presume it will be again tomorrow so was going to take the spray with me to show vet and ask her advice.£60 for 2doses of spot on and 2injections seems rather steep so if anyone has used this spray,I would be interested to hear your views.

What are you using the spray for ? I have used it , its great for killing lice and probably fleas although i have never had any fleas on my rabbits

I would be wary as surely if it was any good the vet would sell it?

I'd use ivermectin drops, i buy these and all buns have it as a precaution every 4 weeks.

Its just like going to the chemist for meds without getting a prescription from the doc ;) . Its a great spray for use on guinea pigs , i wouldn't be without it ;)

Showed this to the vet & she said its no good for mites & not to use it.She gave B her 2nd injection today but said Dill didn't need any treatment as hes fine.Shes given me some spot on for next week.It only cost me £11 today for the injection & spot on[spot on was £4]thought that was pretty good as it cost me £30 last week & expected it to be the same this week.
