new rabbit in opld hutch ... health question

New Kit
Before christmas i lost my dwarf rabbit suddenly.
After disinfecting the cage we took in another rabbit who was given to my step dad due to fighting with cage mate. We lost this rabbit two weeks later and are now worried to put anoher one in the same hutch in case it happens again.
Will the hutch be safe if we disinfected three or four times now that it has been empty through the winter or is it too risky?
Any ideas would help
Thank You.

no unfortunatly not like i say we only had the second for a week or so and had assumed the first rabbit had died of old age as we had seen no symptoms of any illness

pet shop disinfectant is not strong enough. I agree with the other 2, get rid of it and start a-fresh. It just isn't worth keeping it.

Thank you for the help i was sure getting a new hutch was the best thing but as the hutch i have isnt very old and still like new i wondered if i could save it. I certainly dont want to pass anything on.
