We have a black wild bunny living behind the stables. It is about half grown and happily grazes in the horse field, while they trample around. We had 2 the first year we moved in (7 years ago) and one was around until the age of 2, so I guess it died or was killed at that point.
It is very cute, and I do hope it manages to survive.

Awwwwww there was someone else on here who often saw lots of black wildies.
Cant remember who it was though :?

there are a lot down in dorset, on corfe common and around wareham. I think they are the only type of non wild bunny that naturalises because they don't stand out so well.

Hope it survives. We had one living in the fields near us a while back.
