Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Hi
Noticed in Gwens hutch that some of her poo's are kind of strung together almost like beads and seem to have a lot of hair in them. Is this just a normal reaction to her moulting and if sho do I need to be doing anything special?
Have given her a real good brush this morning and ended up with a huge ball of fluff (she's a very fluffy lionhead!)

yes its normal most bunny poop has hair in and you will see strings during higher levels of moult some people use bromaline tablets or fresh pinapple to help with blockages.

Honey gets that when she's moulting. Just try to give your bunny a good brush. I gave Honey a good brush the other day she wasn't impressed

Now thats one thing that is never a problem Gwennie girl loves being brushed and will even nip you if you stop before shes had enough!:)
