I cant get hold off my mum, he seems okay ish but theres blood everywhere and the vet said thats bad, hes plucking out his own fur, hes so distressed :( were going to blimming wickford so its so out of the way for you lou.

:(

thats where his specialist is.

oh i dont know what to do i am SO stupid.

Dont panic hun. Has the vet advised you to bandage it in anything to stop the blood? Try ringing a taxi company and explaining the problem. Do you have a cheque book or bank card or anything with you that you could use for payment?

Lou is coming.

The bleeding has stopped and hes cleaned it off, so it looks like it never happened. but hes pantinh and biting out his own fur around it and keeps like almost sneezing but shaking his head and like flopping about.

update you guys later.

Glad you've got help on its way - hope Peanut is ok.

For the future for anyone who may find themselves in this situation find out if you have a local "Good Neighbours Association" this is a service provided by volunteers for the elderly or anyone in need, I think they usually take advance bookings for trips to hospitals etc - they do pets to vets too but would always do their best to help out in an emergency. There is a volunteer who holds the phone for the day and has access to a list of driving volunteers.

SJ if you are reading this get Peanut into a carrier and onto a heat pad.
Try to stay calm around him. Put the carrier somewhere quiet and cover the front so as he's in a darkened warm small place.

Sending vibes

xx
