Clipping nails

I hate it! I did Sammy's love today and it was fine but I'm never sure if I've taken enough off, I always err on the side of caution as I don't want to make him bleed! He jumped around a few times when I started putting pressure on the clippers, is that because it hurt him or just because he was squirmy, he didn't bleed at all...:?

I find that sometimes the clipper can twist and squeeze the nail, which may be of some discomfort.

Rambaldi sits there and lets me trim him - after the battle to pick him up in the first place.

Huppie is easy to pick up but wriggles after every claw is clipped unless I hold her fast and hubby clips her. She never goes into a trance so I can't even 'cheat'.

She might just hate her feet being touched - lots of buns do I believe
