Fostering

Sorry if this is in the wrong place i couldn't find anywhere else relevant.

While i am a student (albeit for not much longer) and i don't have a full time job i spend quite a lot of time at home and i was wondering what fostering entails? I really would like to help out and local rescues if needs be but i'm not sure what it involves..... could anybody tell me please?

It's really easiest to contact a rescue and talk to them directly, as there is no fixed 'job description' and they will all vary

Oooh thankyou for that! I just thought it might be something worthwhile as i have the time at the moment and the room for maybe 1 or a pair of buns if anyone needed the help.

It all depends on the rescue what is provided for you as well. A local self funded rescue will normaly ask you to supply the things you need ie hutch and food but an RSPCA branch may provide most of this for you. It would help to contact local rescues and find out some information. Id really like to foster and I will definitely look into it once my children are a bit older.
