I have some medication in one of those bottles with the injectable rubber top. I want to avoid contaminating the contents so should I clean the rubber with something to kill bacteria before I insert a needle into it?

Thanks Jane. Can I buy it at a chemist? and can I apply it with regular cotton wool, or should I get some sterile gauze?

You can buy it in any chemist and some supermarkets. I use ordinary cotton wool to apply it :wave:
