What does it mean when your bun "scratches" their chin against things?

question pretty much in title  Joey does it all the time like with his toys and stuff just wondering what it means

If your bun is rubbing its chin on things it just means that he is marking his territory and saying that it belongs to him.

Lola is a "chinner" - she "chins" everything and spends most of her time rubbing her chin on the majority of things.

Strawberry chins everything.i am trying to bond him at the minute and he keeps chinning Snowdrop.

My buns keep chinning everything 2 even things like a carrot when I put it in thier hutch!!

I thought it was more investigating?
Haha, that's why Ghostie does it all the time then!
I've seen Toffee do it though

RE
