bonded then seperated

Young Bun
hi all have 2 rabbits a brother and sister
they are very happy together seperated them about 2 weeks ago as the boy reached 12 weeks old. he is in another hutch opposite so they can see each other. i sometimes get them together in the garden or inside the house and make sure theres no monkey buisness. they get on ok and groom each other and touch heads cuddle up etc. in 2 weeks time hopefully the boy will get done so he cant have babies. so will put them back together but then in a few months when the girl is 6 months we will get her done and have to seperate them again. would it be worth keeping them seperate for longer to get it all done and out the way or get them back together ASAP even though they will be seperated again.

Don't really have much advice but you need to remember to keep the male away from the female quite a few weeks after he has been neutered. Not sure how long but someone else will let you know or you could end up with lots of babies.

I would be extreemely careful when putting your male and female together until they he has been neutered for a few weeks as it is very easy for a mishap to take place, it only takes a second. There are a number of people on here who ended up with litters as a result of doing this :?

Once your boy has done his time after being neutered he can then be reintroduced to his sister. You will then not need to separate them after this when she is neutered as long as they both go to the vets for her operation. You will find that she will recover quicker than if you separate them.
